On the former MPI research site, a new residential quarter has been developed in a privileged location half way up the hill. The connection with the public space is established through a town square with existing plane trees and ground floor retail spaces. The apartments are distributed across stand-alone buildings that are staggered in height and grouped around small neighbourhood squares. Photovoltaic systems are harmoniously integrated on the slightly sloping roofs.
