Oliver Braun

Oliver Braun was born in 1976 in Biberach an der Riss. He began his architectural studies in 1997 at the University of Hannover and continued them from 1999 to 2002 at the University of Stuttgart.

From 2002 to 2004, he worked at Foster and Partners in London, United Kingdom. In the same year (2004), Oliver Braun joined a+r Architekten, where he became a partner in 2010. Through teaching assignments at the University of Stuttgart, Braun combined architectural practice and research with teaching: from 2005 to 2007, he served as a lecturer at the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design under Prof. Werner Sobek, and from 2007 to 2013, Braun worked as an adjunct lecturer at the Institute for Building Construction 2 under Prof. Stefan Behling.

In 2017, Oliver Braun was appointed to the Association of German Architects (BDA). In 2020, he was admitted to the specialist list for judges and design advisors of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects.
