As part of the expansion to become an all-day school, the Längenfeld School Centre was extended to include a school canteen, a media centre, as well as various seminar and practice rooms for the youth music school. In order to maintain an open and permeable school campus, the multifunctional canteen has been integrated into the sloping topography as a long, horizontal structure. The two-storey media library above creates a prominent focal point of the school centre and serves as a contrasting architectural element to the integrated canteen within the grounds.
