The Psychiatric Center Calw (Zentrum für Psychiatrie Calw – ZfP) is planning to establish a new centralised clinic building in the immediate vicinity of the Flugfeldklinikum, which is currently under construction, to provide local psychiatric care for people living in the Böblingen/Sindelfingen area.
The cluster-like structure of the new building offers maximum flexibility. Green courtyards divide the 4-storey building and create differentiated outdoor spaces. The entrance courtyard in the west provides access to the building with a generous gesture. The cafeteria is located at the main entrance and enlivens this area with its outdoor seating. All functions of the building are accessed via the adjoining central hall. In the west wing, the cross-ward and publicly accessible facilities are accommodated: admission, outpatient clinics, functional diagnostics, day clinics, clinic school, therapy area, administration and social services. The two eastern building blocks exclusively house the in-patient wards. Additionally, there are two rooftop terraces on the 4th floor.
