The entrance to the new residential quarter on a conversion area required a distinctive building with appropriate urban presence. The two-storey building design also has the advantage that a larger area of the site can be used as an outdoor play area. The space allocation plan includes three kindergarten groups including an option for all-day use. The prefabricated timber panel construction with stacked timber floor slabs features a curtain-wall cast glass façade on three sides, which is installed at a distance from the timber walls so that the space in between acts as a climate buffer.
